How does the race work?

Each pair gets the same budget as the cost of a flight to the finish line, and has to make it last the whole way. They travel by land and sea, and can earn more cash by working along the route. At each checkpoint the last team to arrive risks losing out.

When is it on?

New episodes are on BBC One every Wednesday at 8pm, and every episode is on BBC iPlayer straight after.
