Why were the Olympia shows cancelled?

On 2 October, Olympia said its December concerts in the Grand Hall could not go ahead, after planning and operational review work and because of the regulatory process and timetable involved. It apologised to fans.

Five Grand Hall nights were affected: Royal Blood on Thursday 3 December, Bloc Party and Interpol on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December, and Jamie T on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December.

What about the Bloc Party and Interpol tour?

The two bands’ joint tour, their first together in the UK since 2004, still runs from Copenhagen on 10 November to Glasgow on 2 December. Only the London Grand Hall dates are off. Interpol said circumstances beyond their control stopped those shows, and described the Arc gig as a way to celebrate their album This Mirror Weighs A Ton before more touring in 2027.

I had tickets for the Grand Hall. Can I get a refund?

Olympia said ticket holders would be contacted directly and should wait for guidance from wherever they bought their tickets. If you have not heard anything, contact your ticket seller.
