Harry Styles has finished his 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York, playing the final show dressed as the city’s famous “pizza rat”. Next year he heads to Wembley Stadium for three nights.
The final night, on Saturday 31 October, was the second of two Halloween shows billed as “Harryween”. Harry came on stage dressed as “pizza rat”, the rat filmed dragging a slice of pizza down the New York subway steps in 2015 that went viral, carrying a giant slice of his own. His band dressed as New York icons, including a yellow taxi and a hot dog.
Halfway through the 22-song set he changed into a shirt reading “I AM A RAT”, complete with a tail and ears. He also played his first ever live cover of Talking Heads’ Psycho Killer, alongside Aperture, Sign Of The Times and As It Was.
