Shocking Video Shows Final Seconds Before ICE Agent Shoots Renee Nicole Good

Newly released footage has revealed the final moments before Renee Nicole Good, a 37 year old mother of three, was fatally shot by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE agent during a confrontation in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The video, filmed by ICE agent Jonathan Jon Ross, emerged today and appears to capture the tense exchange between Good, her wife Rebecca Good, and federal agents shortly before the fatal shooting. In the footage, Renee Good is seen sitting unarmed behind the wheel of her Honda Pilot, smiling and calmly speaking with Ross.

At one point, she can be heard saying, “That’s fine dude. I’m not mad,” as the phone camera pans to her wife, Rebecca, who is standing outside the vehicle and also recording the encounter. Rebecca asks the agent to show his face and challenges him, saying, “You want to come at us?” moments before the situation escalates.

According to the footage obtained by Minnesota based outlet Alpha News, one of the agents orders Renee Good to get out of the car. As tensions rise, Good appears to attempt to reverse and move away, while her wife urgently shouts, “Drive baby, drive,” and bystanders begin yelling.

The body camera footage then becomes chaotic. Ross can be heard shouting “whoa” as his camera drops. Moments later, three shots are fired. One bullet strikes Renee Good in the head through the windscreen, killing her at the scene. As the shots are fired, an agent can be heard using a profane insult directed at Good.

The killing has sparked widespread protests across multiple US cities, including Minneapolis. Demonstrations have led to clashes with law enforcement, with reports of non lethal rounds being fired at protesters and several detentions. A separate video circulating on social media appears to show a police officer kicking candles at a memorial believed to be for Renee Good, before being confronted by a protester. The exact location of that footage has not been confirmed.

US President Donald Trump addressed the shooting during a news conference, referring to Good as a “professional agitator.” He stated that his administration would continue to protect ICE, Border Patrol and law enforcement officers. On his Truth Social platform, Trump previously claimed the agent acted in self defence.

Vice President JD Vance echoed that position, writing on X that claims suggesting an innocent woman was murdered were misleading. He argued that the agent’s life was endangered and that the use of force was justified.

However, Democrats and civil rights advocates have strongly disputed the administration’s account. They reject claims that Good intentionally attempted to hit the agent with her vehicle and have called for a full independent investigation. The incident has further intensified criticism of ICE and its controversial immigration enforcement operations, which have included raids and mass detentions in several US cities.
